COMMENTS ON THE OBJECT :

Stretching nearly 200 light-years, the IC 1805 Emission Nebula mixes luminescent interstellar gas and dark dust clouds. Because of its overall appearance, it has been nicknamed the Heart Nebula. Located some 7500 light years from us in the galactic spiral arm of Perseus, IC 1805 has seen the birth of stars. Near the center of this cosmic heart, there are still hot massive stars forming the Melotte 15 cluster, barely 1.5 million years old.  The Heart Nebula is located in the constellation of Cassiopeia,
